Kingdom Identity...Apprehend the Time

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." Ecclesiastes 3: 2-8 NKJV

As Kingdom people, our privilege and responsibility is to know the times and seasons. While some have been given a specific gift of Godly wisdom to keenly discern the times (those with the Issachar anointing), we are all, as Kingdom people, given the ability to understand the signs of the times. Jesus talked about this in Matthew 16: 1-4.

While we are in what I believe is the last few weeks of this divine pause, God is wanting us to draw very near to His heart and hear what He is saying to us, individually and corporately. This is not a time to jump out and begin to 'work' our plans, gear up for the next big thing, or run ahead of God. Let's use the remaining time we have to press into God, go deep in His word, and listen for words of instruction. We are still in that time, now more than ever, to be still and know that He is God.

The Lord spoke a word to me several months ago, and I want to encourage you with this..."Work within my time," says the Lord. "Anything outside of my time frame is like a wisp of smoke that evaporates. It has no substance and no lasting power. Work within my time time frame has the substance to create. Working within my time frame has an ease that cannot be found elsewhere. Things are easy within my time frame. Stay in my time frame. You will know it by the peace. My time is framed in my peace."

As we exercise our ability to understand the times and seasons, and stay in God's timing, it will prove to be one of the keys that cause us to advance in His purpose and Kingdom. Staying in His time will prove to be a treasure of Lady Wisdom.
