KINGDOM IDENTITY...A Portal of His Presence

"Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." (Isaiah 60:1 NKJV)

This scripture has been reverberating in my spirit recently. Along with it the Lord has been showing me 'pictures' in my mind's eye of the atmosphere of heaven. What that atmosphere looks like, feels like and sounds like. That being said, this month's Kingdom Identity is focused on our being a portal of His presence.

Have you ever considered the fact that you are a portal of His presence? Webster's dictionary defines portal as "a door, gate or entrance." Your heart, soul and spirit are all portals within you. In John 14:23 (The Passion) Jesus says "Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come and make you our dwelling place." What an incredible promise! When we receive Him, He comes and dwells within our heart, soul and spirit. He makes His home in us. We become a portal of His presence.

When He comes in, He also brings the atmosphere of heaven with Him. What an incredible thought! Isaiah 60:2 says "...For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you." We are now on God's timetable, and He is looking for those who will stand up and let their light shine. If you are a child of God, then His glory will be seen upon YOU!

To be a portal of His presence is to understand that no matter where you go and what you do, He is with you. He is waiting for you to release what is inside you (His presence) to a lost & dying world who needs Him. That can look many different ways, but if you yield to Holy Spirit, He will show you how, when and where.

One last thing I want to interject here that is so important. You also carry the atmosphere of heaven with you. This atmosphere can change the atmosphere around you and your city, as well as your region. The atmosphere of heaven is more powerful than the atmosphere that permeates the earth, because the heavenly atmosphere is full of His power, love, and glory. There's no other atmosphere in heaven other than His. When He comes in and makes His home with you, that atmosphere is available to you as well. He wants us to release His Word, His power and His love wherever we go. He also wants us to release His atmosphere. Praising His name is a powerful way to change the atmosphere; so is decreeing a powerful way to change the atmosphere.

We are living in a time we must use every avenue available to us to advance His kingdom. To be a portal of His presence is our privilege and responsibility. Let's be about our Father's business, and be quick to give Him all the glory! He is worthy!
